Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0337016A1] A framework-like busbar device, primarily for lighting purposes, has at least one framework module (M2) which has a pair of hollow profiles (10, 10) consisting of two hollow profiles (10; 10) of the slotted-tube type. At least one of these hollow profiles (10; 10) is designed as a busbar. Both hollow profiles (10; 10) are spaced from one another, in terms of parallel spacing, by means of at least two connecting elements (11, 12) arranged at an axial distance from one another. Each hollow profile (10; 10) has an axial attachment slot (20) on its outer side diametrically opposite to the axial slotted opening. The axial attachment slots (20) of the two hollow profiles (10; 10) face one another. Two connecting elements (11, 12) in each case are replaced by a connecting part (K2) which is inherently rigidly cohesive and extends essentially in one plane. This connecting part (K2) has attachment regions (17), arranged at least at the corners of a quadrilateral, each two of which are attached in a detachable manner in the same attachment slot (20) on the hollow profile side. The framework-like busbar device simultaneously permits a significantly higher load capacity and the capability to bridge over even large spanning widths freely, with extended application possibilities. <IMAGE>
