Vorrichtung zum Portionieren eines wurstartig geformten Nahrungsmittels, gekennzeichnet durch einen im wesentlichen rotationssymmetrischen, kappenförmigen Körper (10) aus einem biegeelastischen Material, mit einem durch einen etwa L-förmigen, von dem Rand (12) des Körpers in Richtung auf den Boden (14) des Körpers (10) und sodann im wesentlichen parallel zu dem Rand (12) und dem Boden (14) des Körpers (10) verlaufenden Schlitz (16) gebildeten, sich bei fehlender Belastung tangential zu dem Körper (10) erstreckenden Abschnitt (18), der mit einer in Richtung auf das Innere des Körpers (10) weisenden, etwa in der Ebene des Randes (12) des Körpers (10) liegenden Schneidnase (20) versehen ist.
