[origin: EP0337225A2] A pad printing machine with a squeegee carriage which is connected at its end to a squeegee unit with a squeegee blade which is suspended so as to swing in penduline manner about an axis of rotation parallel to the adjustment direction of the squeegee carriage perpendicular to said axis and is held in a position level with the printing plate by one or more spring elements. In accordance with the invention, in order to improve the mounting and levelling the penduline suspension of the squeegee unit is so designed that the squeegee unit is pushed onto at least two bearing bolts of a bearing block and is held thereon by means of a bayonet-type fitting or the like, that the bearing block is mounted by means of a bearing bolt so as to be able to rotate in a squeegee carriage bearing bore-hole running parallel to the adjustment direction of the squeegee carriage and is held therein so as to be unable to move in an axial direction, and that one or two spring elements are attached to the squeegee carriage which support themselves on the bearing block and exert opposing torques on the latter. <IMAGE>
