In the handle for a racket for ball games, the grip body is surrounded by a grip sleeve and a ventilation chamber is constructed between the grip sleeve and the grip body. For the purposes of essential damping of oscillations and vibrations at the moment of impact of the ball, provision is made for the volume of the ventilation chamber to be variable by the compression forces exerted by the hand of the respective player during the game and for at least some of the openings provided in the grip sleeve to form a suction or ejection opening for the air flow caused by the volume variations. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Handgriff für einen Schläger für Ballspiele beschrieben, bei dem der Griffkörper von einer Griffhülse umschlossen und zwischen Griffhülse und Griffkörper eine Belüftungskammer ausgebildet ist. Zum Zwecke einer wesentlichen Dämpfung von Schwingungen und Vibrationen im Ball-Treffmoment ist vorgesehen, daß das Volumen der Belüftungskammer durch die während des Spiels von der Hand des jeweiligen Spielers ausgeübten Druckkräfte veränderbar ist und zumindest ein Teil von in der Griffhülse vorgesehenen Öffnungen eine Ansaug- bzw. Ausstoßöffnung für die durch die Volumenveränderungen bewirkte Luftströmung bildet.
