Abstract (en)
In a vaporising burner for fixed heating systems for motor vehicles, there previously arose, after switching off the fuel supply and the subsequent blowing off of the flame, disturbing blue smoke, as residual fuel was only heated but not burned. According to the invention, after switching off the fuel supply, the heater plug is switched on for a given time during the after-running phase of the combustion air blower. As a result, practically all residual fuel is vaporised and burned and consequently formation of blue smoke as well as formation of lasting combustion residues in the region of the spark plug connection piece and/or the burner are avoided. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einem Verdampferbrenner für Standheizungen für Kraftfahrzeuge entstand früher nach Abschalten der Brennstoffzufuhr und dem anschließenden Abreißen der Flamme störender Blaurauch, da Restbrennstoff lediglich erwärmt, nicht jedoch verbrannt wurde. Erfindungsgemäß wird nach dem Abschalten der Brennstoffzufuhr (B) die Glühkerze (3) für eine bestimmte Zeitspanne während der Nachlaufphase des Verbrennungsluftgebläses eingeschaltet. Dadurch wird praktisch jeglicher Restbrennstoff verdampft und verbrannt und somit eine Bildung von Blaurauch sowie die Bildung von bleibenden Verbrennungsrückständen im Bereich des Kerzenstutzens und/oder des Brenners vermieden.
