Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0337452A2] In a case for card-shaped, rectangular data-carriers, which are provided with a magnetisable, strip-shaped data-recording region on part of their surface facing away from the viewing side, two insertion compartments are provided, which are separated from one another continuously by a partition panel and are bounded on the viewing side by frame parts provided with viewing windows. The partition panel and its spacer and resting elements, which keep the frame parts in each case at clear distances (w1 and/or w2), corresponding to the minimum thickness of the data-carriers, from the partition of the insertion compartments, are constructed as an integral plastic panel which has an edge bead which surrounds the central, rectangular panel-shaped region of this panel in a U-shape. The plastic panel has flat longitudinal grooves which extend in the longitudinal direction of the data-carriers and whose lateral distance from the longitudinal edges of the plastic panel and width are selected such that the strip-shaped, magnetisable regions of the data-carriers are permanently arranged within the clear cross-sectional regions of these grooves. <IMAGE>
