Abstract (en)
Disclosed is a band (11) with a rewritable memory device (4) wherein specific information peculiar to an individual carrying the band is recorded and administered. Ihe memory device (4) is capable of rewriting the information in noncontacting fashion and is sealed in a pliable band portion (2). The band (11/2) is worn on the arm of a user of any of various facilities, or is affixed to a domestic animal or the like, whereby the specific information relating to the subject having the band (11) can be freely read and written. Accordingly, services to, and management of, the users of a facility or the like can easily be performed without a troublesome data input operation even when a data processing system (22) is employed.
