Abstract (en)
In this spectacle frame holder, of the type comprising a base plate (1), two parallel guide pieces mounted slidably on said plate so that they can move towards or away from one another, and means for centring the frame between said guide pieces, the guide pieces are independently attached to the opposing parallel lengths of a wire (16) running in a loop around two separated pulleys, one (14) of which is a drive member for the wire (16), while said pulley (14) comprises adjustable brake means (21, 23, 24) formed by a resilient member (23) which stresses said pulley (14) in contact with a friction member (21). <IMAGE>
