[origin: EP0337927A2] A range changing switch is proposed, in particular for an electronic timing relay, a sleeve of elastically deformable material being placed on the housing cover, which sleeve is provided in its inner circumferential surface with depressions for latch positions. A latching pin engages through the sleeve and is connected to a potentiometer. The cross-section of the latching pin is designed in the latching region such that the sleeve deforms elastically when the latching pin is between the latching positions and such that no deformation occurs in the latching positions. <IMAGE>
