Abstract (en)
The method improves the fire resistance of a dry-type transformer winding impregnated with resin. The said winding is surrounded over its inner and outer surfaces by a material based on fibre-glass which has been previously preimpregnated with a resin of the same type as the impregnation resin and loaded with a high concentration of incombustible substances.
