The connection as economiser is selected if, for setting a fuel-dependent, low bed temperature of preferably 730 to 760 degrees C in the fluidised bed (6), a predetermined flue gas rate is recycled via the recirculation line (29). The heating surface (12, 13) is connected as superheater if, for setting a fuel-dependent, higher bed temperature of preferably 820 to 850 degrees C in the fluidised bed (6), a lower flue gas rate is recycled.
