[origin: EP0339196A2] The discharge device of a column dryer has numerous funnels (15), under which sliders (22) are arranged. Each slider (22) is displaceable between a first operating position (B11), in which one slot edge (17a) of the funnel is opened, and a second operating position (B21), in which the other slot edge (17b) is opened, the operating positions changing periodically. For residual emptying, the slider (22) can be moved into a position (B3) outside the slot (17). <IMAGE>
