A method for transferring a subject in the form of an image or script, consisting of at least two conventional printing inks and produced on a flexible surface as a primary support by a printing process to a sheet-like subject support, in particular to a leather, textile or wood surface, in which the subject or receiving surface of the subject support or secondary support is brought into contact under pressure and over an area with the subject until the subject adheres to the secondary support, after which the primary support is removed from the subject, is to be improved in such a way that the subject is produced on a primary support in the form of a cellulose-containing surface which is moisture-permeable on one side and coated on the other side with plastic or with a paint, by the method of indirect electrostatic reproduction using dry toner, and, prior to the use of pressure contact, is placed dry on the surface of the secondary support and is then heated. In addition, the subject is to be applied to the coated surface.

Ein Verfahren zum Übertragen eines aus zumindest zwei üblichen Druckfarben bestehenden sowie durch ein Druckverfahren auf einem flexiblen Flächenstück als Primärträger erzeugten Motivs in Form eines Bildes oder Schriftzuges auf einen flächigen Motivträger, insbesondere auf eine Leder-, Textil- oder Holzfläche, wobei die jenes Motiv oder aufnehmende Oberfläche des Motiv- oder Sekundärträgers mit jenem Motiv in flächigen Druckkontakt gebracht wird, bis das Motiv am Sekundärträger haftet, wonach der Primärträger am Motiv abgezogen wird, soll dadurch verbessert werden, daß das Motiv auf einem Primärträger in Form einer einseitig freuchtigkeitsdurchlässigen sowie auf der anderen Seite mit Kunststoff oder mit Lackfarbe beschichteten zellulosenhaltigen Fläche auf dem Wege des indirekten elektrostatischen, mit Trockentoner-Farbe Reproduzierens erzeugt und vor Anwendung des Druckkontaktes trocken auf die Oberfläche des Sekundärträgers aufgelegt sowie dann erwärmt wird. Zudem soll das Motiv auf die beschichtete Oberfläche aufgebracht werden.
