Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH0245028A] PURPOSE: To remove a filter bag cleanly and readily, in a vacuum cleaner capable of separating a filter bag to the opposite side of the vertical position of the section of a short pipe connecting part by an intermediate supporter, by detaching a chamber near a valve shaft. CONSTITUTION: A case 1 is divided into a motor case 5 and a chamber 6 to be inserted into the upper part of the case for storing a filter bag 7. The chamber 6 is made of a fiber sack 11 reinforced with wire rods like a basket. To remove the filter bag 7, the case 1 can be opened by completely opening its section. A shaft 14 of a cover enabling this state is on narrow one side surface of the case 1. An exchange of the filter bags is performed at a normal use position. By turning the intermediate supporter and further turning the bag short pipe, the short pipe connecting part is automatically separated to begin with, thereby to optimize the process, and then to optimize a possibility of removing the bag short pipe from a hinge.
