[origin: WO8910394A1] The use in an automatic washing machine of portions of a particulate detergent contained in flexible sachets made of a flat, water-permeable textile material results in improved laudering and/or savings in detergent in comparison with the conventional dosing of detergent through the dispensing chamber of the washing machine, provided that the sachet meets certain criteria concerning the nature of the fibres used to manufacture it, and possibly the permeability to air and adsorption power of said material, the geometrical dimensions of the sachet and its degree of filling.

Ein teilchenförmiges Waschmittel, das portionsweise in einem flexiblen Beutel aus flächigem, textilem wasserdurchlässigem Material enthalten ist, führt bei seiner Anwendung in einer automatischen Waschmaschine zu einer verbesserten Waschleistung und/oder zur Waschmitteleinsparung im Vergleich zu herkömmlicher Waschmitteldosierung über die Einspülkammer der Waschmaschine, wenn das Beutelmaterial hinsichtlich der Natur der zu seiner Herstellung verwendeten Fasern, sowie gegebenenfalls der Luftdurchlässigkeit und der Adsorptionskapazität des Beutelmaterials, der geometrischen Abmessungen des Beutels und seines Füllgrades bestimmten Kriterien genügt.
