The invention relates to a device for feeding articles of clothing to a mangle or the like, with a driven conveyor (1) which precedes the mangle or the like and in the region of the front end of which is arranged a laying-on strip (2) which can be moved out from under the front end of an article of clothing laid on it, in order to deposit the front end of the article of clothing on the conveyor (1), after which the article of clothing is conveyed in the direction of the mangle or the like, characterised by a lifting device (3) which brings about an additional vertical up-and-down movement of the laying-on strip (2) after the front end of an article of clothing has been laid onto it. This ensures in a simple way and by simple means that articles of clothing are hung out before they are fed to the mangle or the like. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Zuführen von Wäschestücken zu einer Mangel oder dergleichen, mit einem der Mangel oder dergleichen vorgeschalteten angetriebenen Förderer (1), im Bereich von dessen Vorderende eine Auflegeleiste (2) angeordnet ist, die unter dem auf sie aufgelegten Vorderende eines Wäschestückes herausbewegbar ist, um das Vorderende des Wäschestückes auf den Förderer (1) abzulegen, wonach das Wäschestück in Richtung gegen die Mangel oder dergleichen gefördert wird, gekennzeichnet durch eine eine zusätzliche, nach dem Auflegen des Vorderendes eines Wäschestückes eine vertikale Aufwärts- und Abwärtsbewegung der Auflegeleiste (2) hervorrufende Hubeinrichtung (3). Hierdurch kann in einfacher Weise und mit einfachen Mitteln ein Aushängen von Wäschestücken erhalten werden, bevor sie der Mangel oder dergleichen zugeführt werden.
