[origin: EP0340452A2] Device for adjusting the rotary position between a fixed gearwheel (1) and an adjusting gearwheel (5) arranged coaxially with this and for gripper conversion by axial displacement of an adjusting member (28) on a cylinder (2) of the overturning device of a sheet-fed rotary printing machine, in which there is a pressure member (disc 10) which, by means of spring force, via radially extending pressure levers (8), makes a non-positive coupling of the fixed gearwheel with the adjusting gearwheel and which, to reduce the spring force, is guided axially movably on the cylinder (2) of the overturning device by means of an actuable adjusting member (28) taking effect on the pressure member only after a travel for the actuation of a switch (21) of an electrical safeguard in a supply circuit of a drive device, and in which a further electrical safeguard of the supply circuit of the drive device is interrupted between the switching positions of the axially displaceable adjusting member (28) for the conversion of the gripper control. The spring force acting on the one hand on the pressure member (disc 10) is supported on the other hand against a pressure rod (12) which is guided axially movably in the overturning drum and which, via intermediate members (27, 29, 30-39), presses by reaction force from the spring force against the cylinder (2) at least one clamping piece (54, 55), arranged movably radially relative to the cylinder in the adjusting member (28) for the conversion of the gripper control, and firmly braces the two radially with one another. <IMAGE>
