Abstract (en)
The rotating-drum furnace has holding structures (28) which surround the flame region and have the effect that the freely flowing material to be treated remains in the region of the drum (10) close to the wall and does not fall through the flame. By means of the holding structures (28) and the material retained by these, an effective thermal radiation protection of the drum wall is obtained. The thermal loading of the drum is evened out over the length of the drum. The emission of harmful substances of the rotating-drum furnace is reduced and the thermal efficiency is increased. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Der Drehofen weist Halteeinbauten (28) auf, die den Flammbereich umgeben und bewirken, daß das zu behandelnde rieselfähige Material im wandnahen Bereich der Trommel (10) verbleibt und nicht durch die Flamme fällt. Durch die Halteeinbauten (28) und das von diesen festgehaltenem Material wird ein wirksamer thermischer Strahlungsschutz der Trommelwand erreicht. Die thermische Trommelbelastung wird über die Trommellänge vergleichmäßigt. Die Schadstoffemission des Drehofens wird verringert und der thermische Wirkungsgrad wird erhöht.
