[origin: EP0340594A1] To improve the transmission of the control signals and provide the possibility for a more inconspicuous application of the remote control, it is proposed to provide as transmitter of the control device (1) a vibrator (9) which radiates a remote control frequency outside the human range of hearing, that the sound of the transmitter can be transmitted by transcutaneous coupling of a contact area (10) of the control device via body sound excitation to the skeleton of the hearing aid wearer, and that in the hearing aid a sound transducer (28; 33; 48) is provided which converts the body-transmitted sound signals of the control device into electrical signals and is connected to the control elements of the hearing aid via an amplifier and a coding and detection unit. <IMAGE>
