A web of foil (40) for a foldable container (10) made of a foil-like material, where the web of foil, having a certain width, is folded and closed around an object to be packaged in such a way that it hermetically surrounds the object on all sides (Flowpack), is characterized in that the web of foil (40) is composed of at least two web parts (12, 14), whereby the web parts (12, 14) are parallel, are designed to have overlapping respective single longitudinal border areas and are linked in their overlapping area (C).

Eine Folienbahn (40) für eine Faltpackung (10) aus folienartigem Material, bei der die eine bestimmte Breite aufweisende Folienbahn um ein zu verpackendes Gut so herumgefaltet und verschlossen wird, daß sie das Gut allseitig luftdicht umgibt (Flowpack) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß die Folienbahn (40) aus mindestens zwei Bahnteilen (12, 14) zusammengesetzt ist, wobei die Bahnteile (12, 14) parallel zueinander, sich mit ihren jeweiligen einen Längsrandbereichen überlappend ausgerichtet und im überlappten Bereich (C) miteinander verbunden sind.
