Abstract (en)
Transfer sheet for leather finishing, comprising a support furnished with superposed layers of dressing and/or finishing products, and with an adhesive layer which is separate or incorporated in one of the dressing and/or finishing products. The material of the layer in contact with the support and intended to form the surface finish is chosen from products of the plasticised nitrocellulose or one-component polyurethane type in solution in appropriate solvents for its bonding to the said support, the said first layer being coated with a second layer ensuring the robustness of the finish and the colour, the material of which is chosen from aqueous dispersions of aliphatic polyurethane and acrylic copolymers or one-component polyurethanes of aromatic type in an organic solution, a thermoplastic adhesive of the polyurethane/vinyl acetate copolymer type, capable of being reactivated in the region of 100 DEG C being deposited onto the said second layer in the form of a separate third layer and being incorporated into the second layer. Application: manufacture of shoes, leathercraft articles or the like.
