Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0341323A1] In a gas burner, a prescribed quantity ratio of the gas feed and air feed is maintained with the aid of an electronic regulating apparatus (15) even in the event of a varying heat requirement. For this purpose, two bridge circuits (BR1, BR2) are provided, which are equipped as flow meters with temperature-dependent resistors (W1, W2 or W3, W4), and of which one measures the air flow and the other the gas flow. The output signal of the bridge (BR1) measuring the air flow is used, on the one hand, to generate an additional supply voltage for this bridge (BR1) that increases the bridge current and thus balances the bridge, and, on the other hand, also as an additional supply voltage for the other bridge (BR2). The output signal of the second bridge (BR2) feeds a gas solenoid valve (7), and thus automatically balances the second bridge (BR2) via the varying gas flow. <IMAGE>
