[origin: JPH0238255A] PURPOSE: To eliminate damage of printed sheets by arranging clamping tongues for fixing the printed sheets to a device for holding the printed sheets over a circulating passage in a saddle-shaped receiver for successively placing the printed sheets at a supply station. CONSTITUTION: Folded printed sheets 24 travel on a collecting drum 12 by being gripped by a gripper 62 of a supply conveyor 18, and after opening a fold by an opening roller 72, clamping tongues 38 are placed so as to successively stride in a range A over an opened saddle-shaped receiver 14 in a position D of the collecting drum 12 rotating in the U direction by opening of the gripper 62. The placed printed sheets 24 are fixed when the claming tongues 38 close in a range B according to rotation of the collecting drum 12, and pass without falling even when passing through the lower half part C, and the clamping tongues 38 open again in a range D. The printed sheets 24 are successively placed by repeating the said operation to thus prevent damage by reliably holding the printed sheets.

Jeder Auflage (14) einer Sammeltrommel für Druckbogen (24) sind Wagen (36) zugeordnet, welche im Zuge einer Umdrehung in Umlaufrichtung (U) einen Förder- und einen Rückhub in bzw. entgegen der Pfeilrichtung (F) ausführen. An jedem Wagen (36) sind schwenkbare Klemmzungen (38) vorgesehen, die mittels parallel zur Bewegungsrichtung (F) der Wagen (36) verlaufenden Schienenstücken (86), welche in Richtung (H) bewegbar sind, steuerbar sind. Dadurch lassen sich die Klemmzungen (38), unabhängig von der Lage und Geschwindigkeit der Wagen (36) in oder entgegen Pfeilrichtung (F) schliessen bzw. Oeffnen. Jede Klemmzunge (38) klemmt Druckbogenhälften (76, 76') von auf die Auflage (14) abgelegten sowie auf die in Umlaufrichtung (U) gesehen dieser Auflage (14) nachlaufenden Auflage (14) abgelegten Druckbogen (24) fest.
