The method for splicing webs, in particular paper webs for the production of corrugated board, envisages joining the beginning of a prepared second web (28) to be drawn off from a roll (6) to a first web (13) running out from a roll (5) at a connection point during web standstill. Then, the first web (13) is cut and the roll (6) of the second web is accelerated by the web tension, so that the roll (6) of the second web (28) is accelerated at the connection point before or during the web standstill due to the exertion of a web tension. <IMAGE>

Das Verfahren zum Splicen von Bahnen (13, 28), insbesondere von Papierbahnen für die Herstellung von Wellpappe, sieht vor, den Anfang einer von einer Rolle (6) abzuziehenden, vorbereiteten zweiten Bahn (28) an einer Verbindungsstelle bei Bahnstillstand mit einer von einer Rolle (5) ablaufenden ersten Bahn (13) zu verbinden. Hierauf wird die erste Bahn (13) abgeschnitten und die Rolle (6) der zweiten Bahn (28) durch den Bahnzug beschleunigt, so daß die Rolle (6) der zweiten Bahn (28) noch vor oder während des Bahnstillstandes an der Verbindungsstelle durch Ausübung eines Bahnzuges beschleunigt wird.
