[origin: EP0341635A1] For the purpose of fitting to the inside width of the wall opening (10), the door frame (14), which comprises metal sections (12) and is installed in a wall opening (10), has a compensating bar (16) which can be pressed against the wall opening relatively to the metal sections (12) on each of its limbs (18, 20, 22). The compensating rails (16) are installed in openings extending in the longitudinal direction of the metal sections (12) and are arranged to be movable in the transverse direction. For the purpose of pressing on, use is made of clamping screws which are accessible through holes from the inside of the door frame (14). To fill in the two upper corners of the door frame (14), corner pieces (50) are installed in the mutually adjacent ends of the compensating bars (16), which are composed of square hollow sections. Such a door frame, which can also be designed as a window frame, facilitates the fitting to the particular wall opening with little input of labour. <IMAGE>
