[origin: EP0341729A2] The subject of the invention is a floor for a large cuboid container. The floor possesses an upper panel (2) and a lower panel (1), the two panels bearing on each other via a rigid foam layer (3). The upper panel (2) is an extruded profile which in turn is a double-walled hollow profile, the hollow profile consisting of an outer and an inner covering panel (4 and 5 respectively) which bear on each other via webs (6). Strips (7, 8) are attached to the insides of the outer and inner covering panels and define grooves into which further webs (9) can be inserted for additional reinforcement. The lower panel (1) is flat and may or may not be braced by a U-profile (15) attached to the inside. <IMAGE>
