In an arrangement for indicating the position of one edge of a sheet-like data carrier which is transported through between two guide plates of a recorder, a higher indicating accuracy and a simpler construction can be achieved if a flap, projecting into the guide-plate interspace and mounted pivotably upwards in the direction of transport counter to the force of a flap spring, and a sensor arranged at a fixed location are provided, the sensor and the bearing end of the flap being so arranged relative to one another and coordinated with one another that the sensor can be activated during a first movement of the flap taking place as a result of the advance of the data carrier. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Anordnung zur Positionsanzeige einer Kante eines blattförmigen Datenträgers, der zwischen zwei Leitblechen eines Schreibgerätes hindurchtransportiert wird, kann eine höhere Anzeigegenauigkeit und ein einfacherer Aufbau dadurch erreicht werden, daß eine in den Leitblechzwischenraum ragende, in Transportrichtung gegen die Kraft einer Klappenfeder hochschwenkbar gelagerte Klappe und ein ortsfest angeordneter Sensor vorgesehen sind, wobei der Sensor und das Lagerende der Klappe derart zueinander angeordnet und aufeinander abgestimmt sind, daß der Sensor bei einer durch den Datenträgers-Vorschub erfolgenden ersten Bewegung der Klappe aktivierbar ist.
