[origin: US4934012A] The invention relates to a device for brushing the gasket face of a manhole for gaining access to the inside of a vessel. The invention comprises a main frame (100), a secondary frame (200) mounted to rotate relative to the main frame (100) about an axis (101) which is coaxial with the manhole, and a brushing mount (300) supported by the secondary frame (200) and capable of oscillating about a second axis (102) transversal to the axis (101). Motor means (105 and 205) separately rotate the secondary frame (200) and the brush (301), thereby enabling effective tangential brushing to be performed. The device also includes a continuous suction passage (500) passing through the inside of the secondary frame (200) and through the oscillating brushing mount (300), and opening out into the brushing zone. The invention is particularly applicable to brushing the gasket face of a manhole in a steam generator or pressurizer of a nuclear power station.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de brossage du plan de joint d'un trou d'homme prévu pour l'accès à l'intérieur d'une cuve.Selon l'invention, le dispositif comporte un châssis principal (100), un châssis secondaire (200) monté tournant du châssis principal (100) autour d'un axe (101) coaxial au trou d'homme ; le châssis secondaire (200) supporte une monture de brossage (300) qui peut osciller autour d'un deuxième axe (102) transversal à l'axe (101). Des moyens motorisés (105 et 205), assurant séparément la rotation du châssis secondaire (200) et de la brosse (301), permettent de réaliser un brossage tangentiel efficace. Le dispositif comporte également un couloir continu (500) d'aspiration passant à l'intérieur du châssis secondaire (200) et de la monture oscillante de brossage (300), et débouchant dans la zone de brossage.Application notamment au brossage du plan de joint d'un trou d'homme pour générateur de vapeur ou pressuriseur de centrale nuécléaire.
