[origin: EP0342133A1] An operating mechanism for a miniature circuit breaker comprises a platen (40) for supporting the contact arm (14), a lever (24) coupled to a transmission rod (28) to form a knuckle (30), and a mechanical link (48) which is breakable between the rod (28) and the platen (40). A stop (70) inteferes, in the closed-soldered state of the contacts (16, 18), with the path of a blocking nose (72) in order to positively stop the lever (24) in an intermediate position S. The action of the return spring of the lever (24) after passing the dead point of the knuckle (30) renders this position S stable for indicating the soldering of the contacts (16, 18). <IMAGE>
