A form tool for manufacturing sand moulds by chemical hardening of the moulding sand by means of reaction gases has a wall with a novel open-pore, heteroporous structure. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Formwerkzeug zur Herstellung von Gussformen aus Formsand, ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung und eine vorteilhafte Verwendung des Formwerkzeuges. Das erfinderische Formwerkzeug zur Herstellung von Sandformen durch chemisches Aushärten des Formsandes mittels Reaktionsgasen weist einen neuartigen offenporigen, heteroporösen Wandaufbau auf. Die Wand hat einen schmalen, feinporigen Bereich (3), welcher mit dem Formsand in Berührung kommt. An diesen Bereich schliesst ein grossporiges Stützskelett (4) materialschlüssig an. Outil de formage de moules de fonte en sable de moulage, son procédé de fabrication et utilisation avantageuse de l'outil de formage. Un outil de formage de moules en sable par durcissement chimique du sable de moulage au moyen de gaz de réaction présente une paroi ayant une structure hétéroporeuse nouvelle à pores ouverts. La paroi comprend une mince zone (3) à pores fins qui entre en contact avec le sable de moulage et qui est en communication directe avec une charpente de soutien (4) à grands pores.
