[origin: WO8904837A1] The invention concerns a new protein of approximately 17 KD, with angiogenic activity, a process for isolating it from mammalian milk, therapeutic compositions containing it, a process for detecting and/or determining the content of mammalian angiogenines, their homologues and their fragments. Said protein, of bovine origin, has a sequence of 125 aminoacids, 81 of which are common to human angiogenine, and a molecular weight of approximately 17 KD, and is extracted from mammalian milk. Application to the detection of mammalian angiogenine.

La présente invention est relative à une nouvelle protéine d'environ 17 KD, à action angiogénique, à son procédé d'isolement à partir de lait de mammifères, à des compositions thérapeutiques la contenant, à un procédé de détection et/ou de dosage des angiogénines de mammifères, de leurs homologues et de leurs fragments. Ladite protéine, d'origine bovine présentant une séquence de 125 amino-acides, dont 81 sont communs avec l'angiogénine humaine et ayant un poids moléculaire d'environ 17 KD, est extraite de lait de mammifère. Application à la détection des angiogénines de mammifères.
