[origin: EP0342315A2] A machine (11) for deburring work pieces (12) is provided with a table (26) for clamping the work pieces and with at least one pair of disc-type brushes (20, 21) which are arranged side-by-side, have plastic bristles (75) having an abrasive layer, are rotationally driven in opposite directions about their parallel axis (18) and are held on a planetary head to perform a common rotational movement about a common centre axis, which common rotational movement is superimposed on these separate rotational movements. In order to slow down the heating of the plastic bristles (75) in a machine of this type, provision is made for the disc-type brushes (20, 21) to be connected to a coolant feed via their shank (28) and to be provided with an axially directed coolant-discharge opening (82) arranged around the rotational axis and close to the bristles (75). <IMAGE>
