In a suspension rail for signs, plates or the like, especially for use as a mounting rail for price signs and as a hanging rail for hooking elements of the suspension rail itself and for holding elements of information displays, the profile of the suspension rail having an essentially double-T-shaped cross-section, the inner sides of the limbs of the crossbar of the T having a catch groove for clipping in signs, and an outwardly open groove being provided on each outer side of the limbs of the crossbar of the T for receiving hooking means having complementary hanging means and holding elements, one of the grooves (44), seen from the groove base, has two additional longitudinally extending U-shaped undercuts (46). By this means, suspension rails of the same type can be placed adjacent to each other or joined together continuously. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Abhängeschiene für Schilder, Tafeln oder dergleichen, insbesondere zur Verwendung als Halteschiene für Preisschilder und als Einhängeschiene für Aufhängeelemente der Abhängeschiene selbst und für Halteelemente von Informationsträgern, wobei das Profil der Abhängeschiene einen im wesentlichen Doppel-T-förmigen Querschnitt hat, wobei die inneren Schenkelseiten des Querstegs des T eine Rastnut zum Einklipsen von Schildern aufweisen, und wobei an den äußeren Schenkelseiten des Querstegs des T je eine nach außen offene Nut zur Aufnahme von komplementäre Einhängemittel aufweisenden Aufhängemitteln und Halteelementen vorgesehen sind, weist eine der Nuten (44) vom Nutgrund aus betrachtet zwei zusätzliche längs verlaufende U-förmige Hinterschneidungen (46) auf. Damit lassen sich Abhängeschienen gleicher Art kontinuierlich aneinander anfügen bzw. miteinander verbinden.
