A ball games racket, especially tennis or squash racket has a frame made of plastic, which is designed in two parts in the plane (central plane M) of the stringing provided on the head and the two halves of which have a groove-like cross-sectional profile which is open towards the central plane (M) and has a concave wall, the two longitudinal sides of which, which delimit the open side of the cross-sectional profile, lie adjacent to the central plane (M). Ein Ballspielschläger, insbesondere Tennis- oder Squashschläger besitzt einem aus Kunststoff hergestellten Rahmen, der in der Ebene (Mittelebene M) der am Kopf (1) vorgesehenen Bespannung (3) zweiteilig ausgebildet ist und dessen Hälften (6,7) ein zur Mittelebene (M) hin offenes rinnenartiges Querschnittsprofil mit einer konkaven Wand (11, 11a) aufweisen, deren zwei die offene Seite des Querschnittsprofils begrenzenden Längsseiten (12,13;12a,13a) der Mittelebene (M) benachbart liegen. Die Hälften (6,7) sind durch an der jeweiligen Wand (11,11a) angeformte Verbindungszapfen (8,8a) sowie durch diese aufnehmende hülsenartige Abschnitte (10,10a) miteinander verbunden. Die Verbindungszapfen (8,8a) und die hülsenartigen Abschnitte (10,10a) gehen hierbei jeweils unmittelbar im Bereich der Längsseiten (12,13;12a,13a) in die Wand (11,11a) über alternativ hierzu weisen die Rahmenhälften (6,7) zumindest an einigen, am Kopf (1) vorgesehenen Verbindungszapfen (8,8a) und/oder hülsenartigen Abschnitten (10,10a) einen Abstand voneinander aufweisen und um diese Verbindungszapfen (8,8a) oder hülsenartigen Abschnitte (10a) sind die Bespannung (3) bildende Saiten (2) herumgeführt.
