In order to shape material such as hollow sections, tubes, etc., this material is inserted into a receiving gap between a hollow mould (40) having recesses (35, 36, 37, 38, 39) on the one hand and elastic mould pieces (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) on the other hand. The elastic mould pieces are arranged in layers in a casing together with non-elastic intermediate pieces (29, 30, 31, 32), only shaping in the direction of the receiving gap being possible. The elastic mould pieces (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) are deformed elastically towards the material (33) to be shaped, by applying pressure to the layer arrangement of elastic mould pieces and non-elastic intermediate pieces, as a result of which the material (33) is permanently shaped inside the recesses of the hollow mould (40). The method and the apparatus can be employed, in particular, for the shaping of tubular material, for example for connection between a tube and a bar-shaped end piece. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Zum Verformen des Materials wie Hohlprofilen, Rohren usw. wird dieses in einen Aufnahmespalt zwischen einer Hohlform (40) mit Vertiefungen (35, 36, 37, 38, 39) einerseits und elastischen Formstücken (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) andererseits eingebracht. Die elastischen Formstücke sind in einem Gehäuse mit nichtelastischen Zwischenstücken (29, 30, 31, 32) geschichtet angeordnet, wobei lediglich eine Verformung in Richtung auf den Aufnahmespalt möglich ist. Durch Druck auf die Schichtung von elastischen Formstücken und nichtelastischen Zwischenstücken werden die elastischen Formstücke (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) in Richtung auf das zu verformende Material (33) elastisch verformt, wodurch das Material (33) bleibend in die Vertiefungen der Hohlform (40) hineinverformt wird. Das Verfahren und die Vorrichtung sind insbesondere für das Verformen von rohrförmigem Material, beispielsweise zur Verbindung zwischen einem Rohr und einem stangenförmigen Endstück, anwendbar.
