[origin: EP0344410A2] A roll mill with adjustable roll nip for ceramic masses is improved in such a way that an exact adjustment and fixing of the roll nip is ensured. To do this, the roll mill has two rolls, a fixed roll and an adjustable roll, the adjustable roll being supported on both sides in links which are constructed in the form of double-armed levers and are supported, on one side, by hydraulic piston-and-cylinder units and, on the other, by adjustable stops. <IMAGE>
