Abstract (en)

A folding file for sheet- or card-like material, for example for photographs and negatives. The customarily used paper covers may protect the strips of negatives and photographs from soiling, but not from mechanical damage, such as bending or creasing. A folding file is to be provided which avoids these disadvantages. The new folding file consists of a three-dimensional box-shaped compartment which is formed from a front wall (1), two side walls (2, 3), a rear wall (5) and a closure bottom (4). Attached to the top edge of the rear wall is a two-part or four-part flap, by means of which the opening of the compartment can be closed. A tab (8) can be folded down in the front wall so that it forms a type of lock for the photographs. The folding file can be used in the field of amateur photography. <IMAGE>

Faltordner für blatt- oder kartenförmiges Material, beispielsweise für Photoabzüge une Negative. Die üblicherweise verwendeten Papierhüllen schützen Negativstreifen und Photoabzüge zwar vor Verschmutzung, nicht aber vor mechanischen Beschädigungen wie Verbiegen oder Verknicken. Es soll ein Faltordner geschaffen werden, der diese Nachteile vermeidet. Der neue Faltordner besteht aus einem dreidimensionalen kastenförmigen Fach, das aus einer Frontwand (1), zwei Seitenwänden (2,3), einer Rückwand (5) und einem Verschlußboden (4) gebildet wird. An der Oberkante der Rückwand ist eine zweiteilige oder vierteilige Klappe angebracht, mit der die Öffnung des Faches verschließbar ist. In der Frontwand kann eine Lasche (8) eingeklappt werden, so daß sie eine Art Riegel für die Photoabzüge bildet. Der Faltordner kann im Bereich der Amateurphotografie eingesetzt werden.
