Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0344695A2] A folding file for sheet- or card-like material, for example for photographs and negatives. The customarily used paper covers may protect the strips of negatives and photographs from soiling, but not from mechanical damage, such as bending or creasing. A folding file is to be provided which avoids these disadvantages. The new folding file consists of a three-dimensional box-shaped compartment which is formed from a front wall (1), two side walls (2, 3), a rear wall (5) and a closure bottom (4). Attached to the top edge of the rear wall is a two-part or four-part flap, by means of which the opening of the compartment can be closed. A tab (8) can be folded down in the front wall so that it forms a type of lock for the photographs. The folding file can be used in the field of amateur photography. <IMAGE>
