A hand tool having an elongate, handle-shaped tool body (10) has at one end an active part with two jaw carriers (13A, 13B) provided for receiving stamping elements (15A, 15B), of which the one (13A) is arranged rigidly and the other (13B) slidingly and is connected by means of a rigid drive rod (16) to an actuating lever (12) coupled at the other end (11B) of the tool body (11) by means of a coupling pin (11C). Ein Handgerät mit einem länglichen, handgriffsförmigen Gerätekörper 10) hat an einem Ende einen wirksamen Teil mit zwei zur Aufnahme von Stempelorganen (15A 15B) vorgesehenen Backenträgern (13A, 13B) von denen der eine (13A) starr und der andere (13B) gleitbar angeordnet und mittels eines starren Antriebsstabes (16) mit einem am anderen Ende (11B) des Gerätekörpers (11) mittels eines Anlenkzapfens (11C) angelenkten Betätigungshebel (12) verbunden ist. Das Gerät eignet sich insbesondere zum Crimpen von Kabelschuhen u. dgl. an elektrische Leiter.
