Abstract (en)
The subject of the present invention is an electrical connector. The connector according to the invention comprises a hollow body (1), a support (2) for at least one contact element (3), which support is intended to take up position in the front part of the body (1), a cable clamp device (4) positioned to the rear of the body (1) and an integral cable guide (6) with rear cover (5). The connector is essentially characterised in that it comprises in the body (1) at least one radial aperture (25) made between the portion receiving the support (2) and the rear part receiving the rear cover (5) so that the rear ends of the contact elements (3) are accessible, at least one removable cover (26) intended to obscure an aperture (25) and to define with the body (1) at least one branch chamber (1A) to the rear of the support (2) and at least one means of locking into closing position the cover or covers (26) in their aperture (25). <IMAGE>
