[origin: WO8903437A1] In a process for manufacturing a smooth, dimensionally stable, shrink-resistant polyester filament yarn, the starting product is a polyester POY. The polyester POY (5a) is cold-stretched (5b) in a stretching ratio of 1.8 to 2.5 and then relaxed with an advance of approximately 3 to 10 %. The yarn so obtained has an initial modulus of 600 to 1200 cN/tex, a reversibility limit greater than > 8 cN/tex, and an extensibility less than < 20 % . It is used as a high-strength polyester yarn whenever dimensional stability is essential.

In einem Verfahren zur Herstellung eines glatten, dimensionsstabilen, schrumpfarmen Polyester-Filamentfadens wird von einem Polyester-POY ausgegangen. Das Polyester-POY (5a) wird bei einem Verstreckungsverhältnis von 1,8 bis 2,5 kaltverstreckt (5b) und anschliessend mit etwa 3 bis 10 % Voreilung relaxiert (5c). Es resultiert ein Faden mit einem Anfangsmodul von 600 bis 1200 cN/tex, einer Reversibilitätsgrenze von > 8 cN/tex und einer Dehnbarkeit von < 20%. Er ist als hochfestes Polyestergarn überall dort einsetzbar wo Dimensionsstabilität erforderlich ist. Ce procédé pour la fabrication d'un filament polyester lisse, de dimension stable et solide au retrait utilise comme produit de départ un polyester POY. Ce polyster POY (5a) est retiré à froid (5b) dans un rapport d'étirage compris entre 1,8 et 2,5 et puis est relaxé avec une avance de 3 à 10 %. On obtient un fil ayant un module initial de 600 à 1200 cN/tex, une limite de réversibilité de > 8 cN/tex et une extensibilité de < 20 %. Il est utilisé comme fil à résistance élevée, lorsque une stabilité dimensionnelle est indispensable.
