[origin: EP0345363A1] In the mounting space of the mounting case defined by a sidewall (1), a frame (2) and a cover, there are brackets (5, 7, 8, 14) formed at predetermined positions, into which brackets the functional elements (10, 11, 12, 13) of relays can be directly inserted, so that the desired relay types can be combined in the mounting case in a space-saving manner without the need of a separate relay case. Electrical/electronic components (16 to 19) for the wiring of the relay, if required also for the control circuit, are mounted in SMD technology on conductor tracks inside the mounting space, said conductor tracks being provided directly on the inner surface of the housing floor (1) of the mounting space. <IMAGE>
