A safety jaw for a ski binding, having a holding-down device for the sole, has a height-adjustable tread-plate arrangement (37) for the front part of the sole (35) of a ski boot (36). The tread-plate arrangement (37) consists of a base plate (11), which rests on the upper side of the ski (15), and, arranged above, a tread plate (12) which interacts with the base plate (11) via inclined surfaces (19, 19'; 20, 20'), which fall or rise in the longitudinal direction of the ski, in such a manner that a relative displacement of the tread plate (12) and of the base plate (11) in the longitudinal direction of the ski leads to a height adjustment of the tread plate (12) in relation to the ski (15). Between the base plate (11) and the tread plate (12), there are also provided control surfaces (13, 14) which run at an angle to the transverse direction of the ski, interact with one another, adjoin one another and define the relative position of the base plate (11) and of the tread plate (12) in the longitudinal direction of the ski. Upon a relative displacement of the control surfaces (13, 14) in the transverse direction of the ski, the base plate (11) and the tread plate (12) change their relative position in the longitudinal direction of the ski, as a result of which the height of the tread plate (12) relative to the base plate (11) or to the ski (15) is changed. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine einen Sohlenniederhalter aufweisende Sicherheitsvorderbindung weist eine höhenverstellbare Trittplattenanordnung (37) für den vorderen Teil der Sohle (35) eines Skistiefels (36) auf. Die Trittplattenanordnung (37) besteht aus einer auf der Oberseite des Skis (15) aufliegenden Basisplatte (11) und einer darüber angeordneten Trittplatte (12), welche mit der Basisplatte (11) über in Skilängsrichtung abfallende bzw. ansteigende Schrägflächen (19, 19'; 20, 20') derart zusammenwirkt, daß eine Relativverschiebung der Trittplatte (12) und der Basisplatte (11) in Skilängsrichtung zu einer Höhenverstellung der Trittplatte (12) relativ zum Ski (15) führt. Zwischen der Basisplatte (11) und der Trittplatte (12) sind außerdem zur Skiquerrichtung schräg verlaufende, miteinander zusammenwirkende Steuerflächen (13, 14) vorgesehen, welche aneinanderliegen und die Relativlage der Basisplatte (11) und der Trittplatte (12) in Skilängsrichtung bestimmen. Bei einer Relativverstellung der Steuerflächen (13, 14) in Skiquerrichtung ändern die Basisplatte (11) und die Trittplatte (12) ihre Relativlage in Skilängsrichtung, wodurch die Höhenlage der Trittplatte (12) relativ zur Basisplatte (11) bzw. dem Ski (15) verändert wird.
