Long hair cutter for a dry-shaver, with a shearing comb fixedly arranged on a housing, with a bearing face for the bearing face of a blade leaf, which is coupled via at least one driver to a carrying member which can be driven by a drive, and with at least one pressure spring which is supported, on the one hand, on the carrying member and, on the other hand, on the housing, there being provided on the carrying member on the side facing the cutting teeth of the blade leaf a slightly protruding supporting edge made of plastic material and with a cross-sectional profile tapering towards the blade leaf, and the supporting edge bearing on the blade leaf in the region of the tooth bottom of the cutting teeth, and an optimal bearing of the blade leaf on the shearing comb being provided by deformation of supporting edge and blade leaf by means of the pressing force exerted by the pressure spring via the carrying member upon the supporting edge and upon the blade leaf. <IMAGE>

Langhaarschneideinrichtung für Trockenrasierapparate mit einem an einem Gehäuse (2) fest angeordneten Scherkamm (5), mit einer Anlagefläche (24) für die Anlagefläche (25) eines Klingenblatts (6), das über wenigstens einen Mitnehmer (18) mit einem von einem Antrieb antreibbaren Tragkörper (7) gekoppelt ist und wenigstens einer sich einerseits am Tragkörper (7) und andererseits am Gehäuse (2) abstützenden Andruckfeder (8), wobei an dem Tragkörper (7) an der den Schneidzähnen (30) des Klingenblattes (6) zugewandten Seite eine geringfügig hervorstehende, aus plastischem Material bestehende Auflagekante (31) mit sich zum Klingenblatt (6) verjüngendem Querschnittsprofil vorgesehen ist und die Auflagekante (31) im Bereich des Zahngrundes der Schneidzähne (30) an dem Klingenblatt (6) anliegt und wobei durch Verformung von Auflagekante (31) und Klingenblatt (6) mittels der von der Andruckfeder (8) über den Tragkörper (7) auf die Auflagekante (31) und auf das Klingenblatt (6) ausgeübten Andruckkraft eine optimale Anlage des Klingenblattes (6) an dem Scherkamm (5) gegeben ist.
