[origin: US4967937A] A dispenser for the portioned dispensing of its contents, in particular a pasty composition, has a piston which is displaced stepwise in the emptying direction, an actuating handle which is displaced against spring force, and an outlet opening of the dispensing tube, which outlet opening can be closed by a closure part formed on the actuating handle. Also, upon a return movement of the actuating handle (6), the closure part (10) closes the outlet opening (11) by form-locked application, and pulls the dispensing tube (7) out of its dispensing position into a position of rest.

Ein Spender für pastöse Massen weist eine Betätigungshandhabe (6) auf, die in einem zylindrischen Bereich des Spendebehälters geführt ist und die einen ein Ausgaberöhrchen (7) übergreifenden Bereich (27) aufweist. Das Ausgaberöhrchen (7) stellt einen Kolben dar, der in eine Pumpenkammer (9) ragt. Die Betätigungshandhabe (6) weist ein Verschlußteil (10) auf, das bei Betätigung der Bedienungshandhabe (6) durch Relativbewegung zwischen der Betätigungshandhabe (6) und dem Ausgaberöhrchen (7) von dessen Austrittsöffnung (11) wegbewegt wird, bis der übergreifende Bereich (27) auf das Aufgaberöhrchen (7) auftrifft und dieses mitnimmt. Wird die Betätigungshandhabe (6) losgelassen, wird sie durch eine Feder (30) in ihre Ruhestellung geführt. Dabei kommt das Verschlußteil (10) zur Anlage an die Austrittsöffnung 11), wodurch das Ausgaberöhrchen (7) in seine Ruhestellung zurückgeführt wird, bei welcher das Verschlußteil (10) die Austrittsöffnung (11) dicht verschließt.
