Bei einem pneumatischen Stellelement, insbesondere für Zentralverriegelungen in Kraftfahrzeugen, mit einem Gehäuse (1), mit einer im Gehäuse verschieblich gelagerten Kolbenstange (4), mit einem Kolben (5), der mit der Kolbenstange verbunden ist und der gemeinsam mit einem Gehäuseteil einen Druckraum (7) bildet, mit einem pneumatischen Druckanschluß, der den Druckraum mit einer Druckquelle verbindet, und mit einem elektrischen Schalter (9), der abhängig von der Lage der Kolbenstange relativ zum Gehäuse betätigbar ist, ist unter anderem zur Verringerung des erforderlichen Platzbedarfs der Schalter im Druckraum angeordnet, wobei der Schalter durch den Kolben betätigbar ist.
