The invention relates to a seat cushion (1) for chairs, benches or the like, in particular of sports facilities, consisting of an elastic heat-insulating layer (3, 4) which is completely enclosed by a flexible cover (2). In order to provide a seat cushion which is inexpensive to manufacture and, even when moist, retains its full function, that is to say can be used, the cover is formed from a fibrous plastic film consisting of olefin threads sprayed onto a surface and shaped under pressure and temperature. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Sitzkissen (1) für Stühle, Bänke oder dgl., insbesondere von Sportstätten, bestehend aus einer elastischen wärmeisolierenden Schicht (3, 4), die vollständig von einer flexiblen Hülle (2) umschlossen ist. Um ein Sitzkissen zu schaffen, welches preiswert herstellbar ist und auch bei Feuchtigkeit seine volle Funktion beibehält, also benutzt werden kann, wird die Hülle aus einer faserigen, aus auf eine Fläche aufgespritzten und unter Druck und Temperatur verformten Olefinfäden bestehenden Kunststoffolie gebildet.
