Abstract (en)
The microwave oven according to the invention comprises an enclosure (1) in which is arranged a receptacle (2), at least one microwave source (3) arranged above the receptacle, and a field distributor (5) mounted so as to rotate between the microwave source and the inside of the receptacle. The field distributor comprises at least one tubular waveguide (12, 13) arranged substantially vertically and extending inside the receptacle and containing at least one wave-receiving aperture in the vicinity of its upper part, and at least one wave-diffusing aperture (16, 17) opening out inside the receptacle; the oven also comprises means (25) of immobilising the receptacle against rotation about a vertical axis. <IMAGE>
