Abstract (en)

The mast consists of three coaxial basic shafts (4,5,6). It is characterised in that: - the three basic shafts (4,5,6) are mounted so as to slide relative to one another such that the upper fixed shaft (4) is arranged inside the intermediate shaft (5), the latter being itself surrounded by the end basket-carrying shaft (6); - the control of the end basket-carrying shaft (6) is obtained by one or more main cables controlled by a lifting gear mounted on the support carriage (2); - the proportional raising of the intermediate shaft (5) and of the end shaft (6) is obtained by means of auxiliary cables and appropriate pulleys (17) associated with the intermediate shaft (5) and with the fixed shaft (4); - a unit forming a counterweight (16) is guided inside the inner fixed shaft and partly balances the moveable unit, this counterweight having a mass greater than that of the intermediate shaft (5). <IMAGE>
