[origin: WO8905195A1] In order to improve a whirl nozzle for atomizing a liquid, which has whirl chamber (86) rising above a whirl chamber bottom (34) and tapering toward a nozzle oulet orifice (14) opposite said bottom, at least one whirl channel (42) laterally offset to a central axis (20) of the whirl chamber (86) and opening into the latter, and a whirl parameter of 1, so as to permit an increase in the whirl input pulse at constant or reduced whirl losses, a displacement element (62) rises above the whirl chamber bottom (34) to prevent the formation of an air core in the region of said floor. Said element is arranged concentrically about the central axis (20) and the external diameter of the section nearer said floor is equal to at least one diameter of the nozzle outlet orifice (14).

Um eine Dralldüse zum Zerstäuben einer Flüssigkeit mit einer sich über einem Drallkammerboden erhebenden und zu einer dem Drallkammerboden (34) gegenüberliegenden Düsenaustrittsöffnung (14) hin verjüngenden Drallkammer (86), mit mindestens einem gegenüber einer Mittelachse (20) der Drallkammer (86) seitlich versetzt in diese mündenden Drallkanal (42) und mit einem Drallparameter von 1, derart zu verbessern, dass diese eine Vergrösserung des Eingangsdrallimpulses bei gleichbleibenden oder geringeren Drallverlusten zulässt, wird vorgeschlagen, dass sich von dem Drallkammerboden (34) ein die Ausbildung eines Luftkerns in einem bodenseitigen Drallkammerbereich verhindernder Verdrängungskörper (62) erhebt, welcher konzentrisch zur Mittelachse (20) angeordnet ist und im bodenseitigen Teil einen Aussendurchmesser aufweist, der mindestens einem Durchmesser der Düsenaustrittsöffnung (14) entspricht. Un ajutage à tourbillon vaporisateur de liquides comprend une chambre à tourbillon (86) agencée au-dessus d'un fond de chambre à tourbillon et qui rétrécit dans le sens d'un orifice de sortie (14) opposée au fond (34) de la chambre à tourbillon, au moins un canal à tourbillon (42) latéralement décalé par rapport à l'axe médian (20) de la chambre à turbillon (86) et qui s'ouvre dans celle-ci, et un paramètre de rotation égale à 1. Afin d'améliorer un tel ajutage de sorte que l'on puisse accroître l'impulsion initiale de tourbillonnement sans accroître ou même en diminuant les pertes de tourbillonnement, un corps de déplacement (62) agencé sur le fond (34) de la chambre à tourbillon empêche la formation d'un noyau d'air au fond de la chambre à tourbillon. Le corps de déplacement (62) est concentrique par rapport à l'axe médian (20) et présente dans sa section inférieure, près du fond de la chambre, un diamètre extérieur égal à au moins un diamètre de l'orifice de sortie (14) de l'ajutage.
